If you are talking about “.dmg” files which are disk image files that mac mounts like a drive and then runs the program within, you can use a program called Transmac to view, extract, and even edit the files inside.

Flip4Mac – download the free codec. It will allow your Mac programs to read back WMV properly. Hopefully that should do the trick for you.

BTW, you said the video is on PowerPoint, if you can want to play your presentation both on mac and windows, you’d better convert it to another format, such as Flash for example.
