Filed under: Convert FLV — admin @ 3:23 am

I’m trying to convert an MKV files to the format of vob or  mp4 for playback on my PS3. The thing is that the mkv file contains two audio  tracks, English and French. For some reason, the French track is the default track,  but I can understand English only, so I have to look around the Internet for a  program that allows me selecting English track as output audio track. After  trying out couples of converters, finally I came across Pavtube MKV Converter  in a forum, and found some good reviews on it. It really saved me a lot. Share  it here, hope it is exactly what you are looking for. Please find a  step-by-step instruction from my following contents.

You are allowed to click on the drop-down menu of “Audio Stream  ID” to see which one is your needed audio track. After your selection is done,  do remember clicking “OK” button to save your choice.

3. Click on the pull down  menu of “Format” to select mp4 or vob as output format for PS3

or http://en.wikipedia.org/ can help you !

I chose “PS3 Video (720P) MPEG-4 (*.mp4)” for instance. To  output vob files, you can select “VOB Format” firstly, and then select a format  according to your own requirement.

4. Click “Settings”  button to do advanced settings

If you want to adjust the video and audio parameters to  achieve a special video and audio quality, you can click “Settings” button  to adjust video and audio parameters like codec, image size, bit rate, etc to  whatever you like. But if your TV only has a standard DVD player but not the Blu-ray disc player, what is your solution to play Blu-ray movies on it? I’d like to know your ideas. I believe my way is somewhat helpful, just convert BD to a DVD format, and then burn it to a blank DVD for playback on the TV/DVD Combo, so share it here, and also be glad to hearing from you guys.
