Can a mac laptop recognize and play a WMV video format on powerpoint?

Filed under: Convert FLV — flvbest @ 1:27 am

If you are talking about “.dmg” files which are disk image files that mac mounts like a drive and then runs the program within, you can use a program called Transmac to view, extract, and even edit the files inside.
My powerpoint only

Mac Video Converter Family, a series of video conversion applications for the Mac.

recognizes WMV video file so far & it won’t recognize quicktime.

Mac DVD ripper could rip DVD to AVI, multiform videos/audios
Rip DVD movie to video and audio formats including AVI, MPEG, WMV, MP4, DivX, H.264/AVC, MOV, 3GP, 3GP2, MP3, WAV, WMA, AC3, M4A, OGG, RA, AU, etc.

Maybe suggest other formats that i could convert it to so that it would be

Mac DVD to iPhone software is the best iPhone movie converter for Mac which is able to convert iPhone video on Mac OS X.

compatible for both windows and mac.
Thanks in advance!
download VLC and you will be able to watch WMV movies. It’s free too
Flip4Mac – download the free codec. It will allow your Mac programs to read back WMV properly. Hopefully that should do the trick for you.
If you want to play the wmv files on mac, you must get flip4mac. But if you want to convert the video format to other format like mov, perhaps you may give a look at this mac video converter, it’s really a good one for me to convert all my video files, with simple process and powerful functions. It can support many input and output formats, you may like it as i think it’s really a good one for you to convert video files
i think you can try convert the video to mp4, cause mp4 can played in both Windows and MAC. and i think you may need a free mac video converter, try this one. leawo free mac video converter.
You can easily convert WMV video to avi video.
BTW, you said the video is on PowerPoint, if you can want to play your presentation both on mac and windows, you’d better convert it to another format, such as Flash for example. Because the version of PowerPoint on Mac and Windows are different, mac cannot open the presentation from Windows. But Flash can, over 98% of computers already have the Flash player installed. There is a version of the Flash player for virtually every operating system and Internet browser including Safari. There are also many converting tools you can find on Internet such as Wondershare

Makayama is working on DVD to Palm and DVD to Smart Phone, among other programs.

gettin used to wasnt that hard they both are different but in thier own ways so i think it would be a good idea especially since all the viruses on yours
It took me about a week to get used to. I love my Macbook. The speed is faster. No defragmenting and disk cleaning. It’s done automatically. Also software is cheaper. iWork 71.00 MS Office 129.00
Leopard Full 129.00 Win 7 Full 319.00
Macs are way better.
I am on a pc and trying to open some older files from a old laptop of a friend that are all in the pages format from their mac. I don’t have a mac, but need to open them. I have looked for an online converter or something to do it but can’t find anything. Short of emailing them to a friend with a mac or buying a mac myself is there any other option to get these open?
They open on my Windows XP box. What is the message you get when you try to open them? If you have a file called “Friend_letter.pages” and you view it in a “My Computer” window, it should look like a folder, because all Pages files are actually packages. Inside the folder should be other folders. One of those is QuickLook. Inside that there can be one or more files. You should find a “Thumbnail.jpg” and if you open that, you can read all the text. If the file was saved with a preview, you will also see “Preview.PDF”. If the file had images added, they should be in the “”Friend_letter.pages” folder also, as well as embedded in the Thumbnail.jpg and the Preview.PDF.
If you need to edit and save a Pages document, you need a Mac. If your friend wanted you to use these documents, and he knew you didn’t have a Mac, why didn’t he export them from Pages? He can export as a Word document and Bob’s your uncle.

I am a free-lance makeup artist and a dance performance student.

Mac DVD to iPhone software is the best iPhone movie converter for Mac which is able to convert iPhone video on Mac OS X.

I qualified under all the details they gave me to get a Mac Pro Student membership ( studying dance performance). I exchanged e-mails with a lady from MAC helping me with my application. However, It has been a little over 2 weeks and I still have not heard back from anyone, should I call?
How long did it take any of you to get your MAC Pro or Mac pro student membership approval/cards?
Also if you continue on and graduate can you change your membership to just regular MAC Pro instead of keeping the Pro student?
It takes a long, long, time, and you just have to be patient. It can take up to 5 weeks. As for your other question, I am not too sure, but I would think that they would let you get the regular MAC Pro card.
Hope I helped & Good Luck!

All my life I’ve been a PC user. My laptop is getting old and I need to buy a new one. I’m tired of all the virus, worms and blue screens of death, plus I really like some of the software that mac computers use. I’ve considered buying a mac. If you’re one of the people that has switched to mac, did you regret it? Was it hard to get used to it?
So, to make a long story short, I made the switch and it’s been smooth sailing ever since. The learning curve is almost non-existent. The one thing I had the most difficulty with was getting used to copy and pasting. Instead of Control-C and Control-V, it’s Command-C and Command-V. Go ahead and laugh at me.
I am no longer a PC. I’m am a Mac and I can safely say, I will always be a Mac.
I switched to a Mac in October of 2008, after using everything from Windows 98 to Windows Vista on Dells, Compaqs, HPs and Toshibas, and I don’t regret it one bit.

What are the benefits of buying at a MAC store instead of a department store?

Filed under: Convert FLV — flvbest @ 1:25 am

I have heard that there are some benefits to buying cosmetics at the mac store instead of a department store like Macys.

DVD ripper is a computer program that facilitates copying the content of a DVD to a hard disk drive.

One of them being that the refill pans of eyeshadow are not available to you at department stores.

DVD to iPhone Converter for Mac is a Mac DVD to iPhone converter designd for Mac OS users to convert movie DVD to iPhone MP4 video and M4A audio.

Are there more bonus’ to the MAC stores?

An easy-to-use DVD to iPhone software which enables you to convert DVD to MP4, H.264, MP3, AAC, WAV and M4A which can be played freely and perfectly on your iPhone.

Is it cheaper? Do they offer you samples?
Its the same as the counters, but the MAC store has more stuff that aren’t avaliable at counters.
You get a way better service and professional advice so you can be sure you get the right products for your skin needs. Sometimes they give samples away as well.
it’s the same price and while both the counter and the store are supposedly supposed to offer samples, neither one really ever do. sometimes on the off chance though. sometimes.
the only thing cheaper are those refill pans. they are like a couple dollars cheaper but you don’t get to do the back to mac thing with them.
its same price either way but at the MAC store you can get more things like the pan refills and pallette. i also thing you have more option for if you BAC to MAC something but idk… you also have even more option of product to buy if you go to a MAC pro store
It’s basically the same thing, except you can get refill pans and palettes. Unless you’re talking about the MAC Pro stores. That store is only located in four states. I know it’s in NYC and LA. That is where they have special eye shadows, lipsticks, etc that you can’t get at a MAC store at Macy’s, Nordstroms, or even their regular store. You can order from the MAC Pro store by phone, if there isn’t one near you. Also, they offer a special program where you can get discounts.
Only if you’re a makeup artist, freelancer, photographer, model, actress, etc. They have a complete list on their site. Depending on what you do, you can get up to 60% off. They have limits and rules, though. But for advice, don’t try and fake your way in. It takes awhile for them to get back to you. Why? Because they are taking their time, reviewing your credentials (you have to provide actual proof, business cards, degree, etc) and if they find out you faked it, they will keep you on a list and it will become even HARDER to get in next time.
Sorry for this being so long.

How do I transfer files from my cell to mac using bluetooth?

Filed under: Convert FLV — flvbest @ 10:14 pm

I want to send a video from my nokia using my mac laptop…

Video Converter for Mac convert videos among various formats for computer or portable devices use.

after I’ve connected my phone and computer, what are the next steps?

Mac DVD ripper could rip DVD to AVI, multiform videos/audios
Rip DVD movie to video and audio formats including AVI, MPEG, WMV, MP4, DivX, H.264/AVC, MOV, 3GP, 3GP2, MP3, WAV, WMA, AC3, M4A, OGG, RA, AU, etc.

I also wanted to know after I’ve managed to send the video from my phone to my ibook, where on my computer will it save

An easy-to-use DVD to iPhone software which enables you to convert DVD to MP4, H.264, MP3, AAC, WAV and M4A which can be played freely and perfectly on your iPhone.

(where will I be able to find the video?)?
Is there anyway I can get it to go to imovie hd?
Please be specific, as I’m pretty computer illiterate lol…
After you pair your computer to your phone from System Preferences, you can click on the Bluetooth logo in the menu bar (it looks like a “B”) and click “Browse Device” then select your device and browse through the folders until you find the movie.
When your in the customize window, right click on the button you wish to remove and select “remove from toolbar”.
Opera’s customize toolbar function adds buttons, but doesn’t let me delete them.
I have also tried holding the command key and dragging out of the toolbar.
I am using the Mac version 9.64
Thanks Winner, but being on a Mac, there’s no right-click. Sometimes, you can hold the button down for five seconds, but that’s not working here.
Appreciate the effort, though.
I’m getting a Mac soon and would like to transfer my music from my current computer, a PC.
I have an iPod but it’s formatted for PCs.
I asked an Apple employee about it and she said there’s no apple-supported way but I could probably find out a way online.
Thank you for being a smart consumer and buying a Mac. There are plenty of ways in fact if you take your PC to a Mac store when your Mac arrives they will transfer everything over.
Also the Apple website has a lot of answers for questions like this.
Good luck.
